The name of the PWC fundraisers was updated in 2026 to Bids & Sips (for scholarships and more), reflecting a more concise description of our activity: a silent auction and wine tasting.

With the generousity of the broader Pentwater community, merchants, artists and members donated 246 items for the silent auction. The crowd of attendees certainly appreciated another year of expertly curated wines from Port View for the teasting.

The quilters crafted an amazing king-sized quilt “Beach, Sand & Lake Michigan Waves”, which was raffled off during Homecoming Weekend.

The PWC is so very very grateful to everyone in the community or visitors who attended, bid on auction items, and purchased raffle tickets. 2026 was a record-breaking year for fundraising and we are thrilled to be able to award these fund in the spring of 2027 to deserving students and grant applicants.
